Surly GM captain John Sandahl talks about how his team adopted hex offence early in the season, overcame initial scepticism from around 1/3rd of the team (including the highly decorated o-line captain), with some players being openly aggressive against hex to begin with, and after a couple of trainings got total buy-in from the team and went on to win the World Grand Masters Championship. Surly GGM won too earlier that same day - the Great Grandmasters Champions - also using hex. In fact it was Paco and Kenny on the GGM team who introduced hex first, using the roles of bouncers and dribblers which intrigued the GM captains, and eventually convinced them over zoom calls to give it a try. Felix talks about all the different teams playing hex at World Masters, the teams potentially playing hex/flex at WUCC 2022, and the how & why behind the offence spreading fastest amongst Masters and Youth teams.
