Das Festival ACHTELTON 2024 wurde mit der Uraufführung von Sowing snow in conepots der jungen Komponistin aus Lissabon eröffnet. Sie komponierte das Werk für das Duo Nada Contra und greift dessen Ideen auf. Ausgehend von einer bevorstehenden Zusammenarbeit mit den Performern versucht das Stück, die klanglichen Möglichkeiten zu erforschen, die mit der physischen Geste verbunden sind, die sie hervorbringt. Es nutzt die dynamische Natur des Duos, das die Körperlichkeit des Schlagzeugs mit der Künstlichkeit des Synthesizers verbindet, um ihre Beziehung und Interaktion herauszufordern. In einem Spiel der Transformationen im Klangkontinuum entsteht die Möglichkeit, die Rollen zu tauschen - nicht gegeneinander, sondern durch das Zulassen von Interferenzen. The ACHTELTON 2024 festival opened with the world premiere of ‘Sowing snow in conepots’ by the young composer Marta Domingues from Lisbon. She composed the work for the duo Nada Contra and takes up their ideas. Based on a forthcoming collaboration with the performers, the piece seeks to explore the sonic possibilities associated with the physical gesture they produce. It utilises the dynamic nature of the duo, combining the physicality of the drums with the artificiality of the synthesiser, to challenge their relationship and interaction.
