This is another old project that the beGLaDOS team asked me to pull out. The player is a core, rather than a test subject, and thus can't manipulate the environment directly: she has to do it by controlling the various cameras and droppers and such within the test chamber. This video only shows the cameras and droppers; other currently controllable elements include turrets, rocket sentries, and rotating portalguns (which you can aim precisely if you're controlling them). The coolest part of this is that the "ring" (the interface in which you select an element) is generated automatically by the script. Just drop all the instances you need into your map, give each one a name, and send an input to each in the order you want them to appear in the ring. The icons and uis will be put together automatically.
