Even though I wrote it 30 years ago, it still brings me home to my heart. Keeping silence for all those months while following devotion's path into the dharmakaya meditation created the cause for songs like this to pour out of me without effort. This joyful experience came from the kindness and vastness of my lama. I hope this music video communicates how the power of devotion and love can transform ordinary reality. We are all so, so, fortunate to be the sons and daughters of our precious teachers. We can't even begin to know how fortunate we are.
