Twitter/Instagram @benellerguitars Next chapter in my quest of Mastodon Leviathan full album guitar covers, a personal favorite, Megalodon!!! This song is just awesome riff after awesome riff, it never lets up. This song pretty well sums up the Mastodon riff style; lots of hybrid picking, lots of strange chord shapes moving around the fretboard, some cool non-diatonic harmonies... so awesome. This one took me a while to figure out a couple years ago, for sure! I made a cover video of it a while back using the Seymour Duncan Nazgul 7, but i thought i would make another using the Dimarzio Titan and this particular Kemper profile, which is an Amp Factory Marshall JCM800 Drive profile that i've gotten to sound a LOT like the album tone. The Titan is just so freaking great i can't believe it. Guitar is my RG470 that i've modded the shit out of and swirled. Thanks so much for watching!
