LawTransform - RESEARCH AGENDA FOR THE NEXT DECADE Inequality - Transforming Marginality Enormous and systemic social and economic inequalities between and within societies are among the greatest global challenges of our time. They intersects with all other global challenges from climate change and migration to pandemics, war, organized crime and political extremism. Law - from economic and social rights and welfare legislation, to property laws, criminal codes, tax law and market regulations - are drivers of inequality, but also main political tools used to address inequalities and transforming dynamics of marginalization. In this roundtable, a panel of excellent scholars who have used most of their careers thinking about and researching drivers of inequality and how to change the underlying dynamics, will give us their perspectives on the most important research challenges in this field in the next decade. This session is a collaboration between GRIP Global Research Program on Inequality and LawTransform.
