Taunus Variety - Back to the Grind

After several weeks of taking a break from biking, I am back and met with the RoughRidersMTB (   / @roughridersmtb  ) on a melting hot Wednesday to ride some trails and get back on track. I was surprised how well I did fair on the climb. I thought the break would have a heavier toll on my endurance than it did. It was still painful though ^^ Arrived at the Windeck we started with Flowtrail Feldberg. On the first kicker of Flowtrail part 1.2 I had the first bottom out of my fork. After Finale I loosened up the compression, but I had to increase the HC again by 1 click. Afterwards it felt fine. The first time I rode the full Jägermeister. What a great trail. Not as Loamy as the bottom but still great fun. Suddenly it started raining with Thunder in the background, so we started to rush down the mountain via Flowtrail parts 2 and 3. Right at the start one of us washed out and crashed at the beginning of Flowtrail part 2. He hurt his shoulder, but it doesn't seem to be anything serious and he could continue. It was quite the experience rushing down the trail with hail adding to the rain the got quite heavy in the meanting.
