Synopsis: Based on the season 1 episode 12 Call Of The Cutie, this chapter of Muffins was made as a branching path of the episode to fit into the Muffins Universe. Applebloom wants to get her cutie mark before Diamond Tiara’s party, so after failing she goes with Pinkie Pie who originally was going to kill Applebloom for her cupcakes. However she instead recruits the child as an understudy. Recons: In the chapter there’s two reasons I place to help with not just the flow of the Muffins storyline, but also to fix minor errors or oddities in the Muffins Chapters Applebloom Gets Her Cutie Mark and A Broken Tiara. 1) In Applebloom Gets Her Cutie Mark, Pinkie Pie and Applebloom explain to Applejack how she got roped in on Pinkie's Murders. The bakers explained that Pinkie was carrying a body into Sugarcube Corner and Applebloom saw this. Pinkie then says “I wasn’t very discrete back then” which is confusing. Pinkie has presumably been killing and making ponies into cupcakes for the last 10 years. (9 years old) So 1. How has she not been caught yet if she’s been this carless? And 2. Why has only Applebloom seen her do this? I have to chock it up that Pinkie and Applebloom lied to Applejack, and I think I know why. Incase Applejack did somehow get out of her binds, she could have enough strength to come at Pinkie Pie for traumatizing her sister. Filled with blind rage she could even try to kill Pinkie because she would do anything for Applebloom. Setting it up that Applebloom willing wanted to be around Pinkie and help her out in the murders made Applejack believe her sister was too far gone to help. 2) In A Broken Tiara, Diamond tells Applebloom about her hard life in hopes that she will release her. However, in this chapter Diamond's mother is canonly Spoiled Rich, no longer the nurse pony who is nice and hardworking but instead a spoiled, high-class mother. I feel Diamonds mother makes more scents as a verbal abuser than a mother who's doing everything for filly. Diamond believes Applebloom doesn’t know about her family too well so lies about it to her to both gain sympathy while hiding the truth and humility. Diamond possibly even thinks Applebloom is bluffing on hurting her and only realizes how much she’s in trouble when she loses her cutie marks. She even begs Applebloom not to hurt Silver Spoon. This theory also works with how Applebloom starts it to see if Diamond would lie and she did, which I think fouled the filly’s rage further.
