Nurshing Phuwaar Temple Soon Valley - A Nature's Paradise

A wonderful place in an amazing geological features where the mountains are almost plate apart. Nullah and the ground difference is around four five hundred metres with cliffs on both sides presenting a spectacular view. This place was chos n by a local Hindu names Nurshing Daas and he built a Temple here, the date of which is not very clear but it seems around few hundred years old. The falling water in the mountains from the creeks and then hitting the boulders used to create a sprinkle effect which is known as PHUWAAR in Punjabi/ Saraikee. So Nurshing Daas named it as Nurshing Phuwaar which is now commonly known as Nursingh Phuwaar. There is a 15-20 minutes walk from the road where you have to park your vehicle. The track is in reasonably good shape. There are two beautiful creeks (chashmas) originating from this place. One creek is known to be emanated once a Saint known as PEERAN SAHBA hit his ASAA (stick used for help in walking, mainly done by aged people and is also Sunnat of Holy Prophet). This creek has a beautiful pond infront where the water accumulates and then goes done in the steep nullahs. There is another beautiful creek which was formed in 1992 when the area received very heavy rains and a small land sliding in this place resulted in the origination of another creek. Both the creeks have sweet water and can be a lovely source of swimming in summers. The place is currently under Auqaf and Religious Department who have placed a local man from Chambal village as its caretaker and pays him a meagre 12000 Rupees. The place cam be a great religious tourism treasure if given some attention. The weather is also very pleasent in Summers
