Mount Greylock, Massachusetts State & Berkshire County (CoHP) Highest Point . Mount Greylock, is the state HP and at 3,491 feet it will take a bit of a hike to reach the summit. Its peak is located in the northwest corner of the state in the western part of the town of Adams (near its border with Williamstown) in Berkshire County. A seasonal automobile road (open annually from late May through October end) climbs to the summit, where stands the iconic Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower. A network of hiking trails traverse the mountain, including the Appalachian Trail. Another highpoint bagged by us.
