Stammheim: The discotheque was founded on February 11, 1994 initially under the name Aufschwung Ost, the renaming took place in 1996. Until its closure in 2002, it was located in the Kulturfabrik Salzmann in Kassel. The size was adjusted according to the event and extended to up to three floors of the historic factory building (about 1660 square meters per floor). There were numerous radio broadcasts in the context of hr3 clubnight, there were also organized large-scale events (including in the run-up to the Berlin Loveparade and at festivals such as the Nature One). The Stammheim went several times to Germany tour (including Tresor / Berlin, ultrasound / Munich, Dorian Gray / Frankfurt). In 1998 Der Spiegel magazine called the Stammheim in the same breath as these discotheques. There were also events abroad (including in London, Sydney and Detroit).
