Modern power system is a very complex structure because of the size (number of components) of them and the non-linearities inherent to the mathematical model. As a consequence, modern real power systems require the use of very powerful software to perform power system analysis. This document is not indented to be a compressive review of the DIgSILENT PowerFactory software, in fact, the software has so many features and trying to cover all of them will be a massive job beyond the scope of this document. This video presents a simple tutorial that aims to: (1) To present a very basic overview of the DIgSILENT PowerFactory environment (2) To set up a very simple power system model in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and conduct a load flow simulation.
