PANKAJ Pankaj Riyaz, is a renowned multifacet performer of Senia and Delhi Gharana.He is also a outstanding Sufi singer and sitarist of India. He received his guidance in Sitar and Vocal from world famous sitar maestro Padambhushan Pandit Debu Chaudhuri, Sangeet Ratna Pandit Prateek Chaudhuri and Dr. Ravinder Adeshra. He has also received blessings from Ustad Hamsar Hayat Nizami, the great Sufi Vocalist of Sikandarabad Gharana. He is born and brought up in Delhi. Academic Excellence Pankaj Riyaz is a topper in his B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. in Music from Delhi University. He is the recipient of Gold Medal for his M.A. (Music). He also completed his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Music from University of Delhi. He has also done 6 years Diploma in Vocal, Sitar and Harmonium from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. • He has performed in countries like Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Japan, Singapore, China etc. • He has created a world record by performing at Noor Mahal (Punjab) during Divya Shanti Mahotsav in front of 30 lakhs audience. • He is also a visiting Faculty in various reputed organizations and universities. • He has written 4 books on music at this age which is a remarkable achievement in itself.
