Even though the temperature dial was turned all the way up. This is not like a 2 handle shower where you can just turn the Hot dial on only. The fix though was actually not too hard. Just remove the temp dial cap with a screw, remove and re-adjust a plastic "ring" on the inside. The ring limits the extreme's of the temp dial. Just make sure you don't break the plastic ring.
