Making our way from Queenstown we're heading North to take one of the most popular hikes in New Zealand, known as the Hooker Valley Walk. The drive there took us through some of the best views in the South Island, snow capped mountains and so much greenery. The Hooker Valley walk is epic as well - it's not just about the journey because the views over Mount Cook and the lake at the end were perfect. As we mentioned in the video, Mt Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand. It's height, as of 2014, is listed as 3,724 metres so it often can get hidden behind the clouds.
