Gresh is a Seck commander who laid siege to Fortress Kroth during the Seck Resurgence. Commander Gresh manipulated the dim-witted Krug into pillaging the farmlands of Ehb, and ordered them to deliver any magical items that they found to him. Using powerful necromancy, the Seck Commander brought a formidable army of the undead to bear against the 10th Legion stationed at Fortress Kroth. Eventually, a band of heroes, led by the future Lady Montbarron, challenged Gresh, and slew him before the gates of the fortress. He will lock the player's party from entering Fortress Kroth by a fence of magical spikes, and when defeated, the way opens. He can be difficult to defeat if one does not have healers or the spell Zorkon's Bonecrusher.
