Camping and Fishing Osceola National Forest | Part 1 of 3

I made the drive up to Osceola National Forest in North Florida for a little camping and fishing trip. The goal of the trip was to check a handful of new fish species off of my lifelist. The first day was spent driving almost 400 miles from the Fort Lauderdale area to Osceola National Forest with about an hour or so of sunlight left to do a little bit of fishing. I fished what I can best describe as a little bog-like area near my campsite for some micros. Unfortunately, all that came up on the day were eastern mosquitofish. While catching anything is always nice, I didn't drive 6 hours to catch the same fish species that I can find in my backyard canal.
