Multiple asian water monitor lizards were fighting over a dead tilapia. The crows were around hoping for some scraps. This was recorded in Lumpini Park, Bangkok, Thailand. These large reptiles feel surprisingly well at home in the middle of this giant metropolis. They don't have any natural predators here and are the apex predator themselves. They will eat almost anything, from carrion to fish, turtles, pigeons and even the odd stray cat. They have a particular taste for eggs. They are great swimmers, they can dive, run, climb and dig, so when these awesome hunters are locked on to their prey, there is no escaping.
