This marks the maiden use of the J-slab ballastless track system in India. The innovative track system comprises pre-cast track slabs that serve as a foundation for fastening devices and rails. These slabs are supported by the RC track bed, which boasts a thickness of approximately 300mm and is built in-situ on the viaduct top.
