Featuring: Prachi Goswami and Tapesh Kumar “I saw him on the explore page of Instagram & just shot him a text. He is a pilot, I am a pilot & I just felt like talking to him. Surprisingly we quickly started talking about anything & everything. Even though we didn’t really talk every day, we kept coming back to each other. Sometimes after days, weeks & months. We met for the first time in 2019 at a dusshera mela. I remember sitting next to him on the ferris wheel & asking myself, ‘Do I like this guy?’ & immediately stopped that train of thought. We came back to my place & went up to the roof. We lost track of time talking, saw the sun go down & then it was night. With time, Tapesh became the guy I used to secretly dream about & I had no idea why. He was a good friend who supported me, listened to my thoughts for hours & I just enjoyed his company. I made my Instagram account public & Tapesh helped me with shooting stuff & brainstorming ideas. I did that too for his account. One random evening in 2020, I went to his place to return his travel bag. He was there with his friends.Being a little bored, I found an i-pad pencil & started doodling whatever was coming to my mind. The doodle turned into a conversation about love between me & Tapesh. He was being skeptical about love and I was showing him the good side of it. He wrote that he would love to see the good side of love & suddenly it was not a fun doodle session. That night, we talked for three hours & then I confessed I too would like to be with him. I had only two conditions that I won’t commit to a relationship for at least six months & will not think of marriage for at least two years. I thought it was okay to clarify since I was 23 & he was 27. Little did I know that I would be engaged to him just four months after that night & then get married in June 2021. I did not think twice because it did not make sense to stay away from someone who makes me the happiest. He is the practical one & I am a hopeless romantic & it really works perfectly for both of us. We are mostly on tight work schedules, flying to different cities but we are never really away from each other. I really believe he is my twin flame.”
