This is probably my favourite song off of the album. The idea started in late October, when I started sampling and mixing up "Tricks Up My Sleeve" from Rainbow Rocks. I made a cool little demo with it and shortly after began writing various lyrics and sifting through what would work. "Sorceress" is a mix of things in terms of meaning, but the overall theme that can be applied here is Trixie's advances to make herself up, so to speak. To be attractive. To be dazzling. To be seen. Along the way, there are references to other things such as her sensual curiosities and examination of what love is. She calls herself a "sorceress", level-headed in magic, but still needing to learn to be grounded in reality.
