And he is choreographer, director and a lot of movement he designed for me. He always tried to make sure it is safe for me to do. A lot of choreographer, director won't do this. They just desire and let the actors do this, but he will think about this, maybe because he is also an actor, and he would think you would maybe worry about the danger and so he would do that and make me feel very safe and comfortable." 7. When I'm acting I'm very objective and try to look at it purely from that character's point of view but when I'm directing I'm taking myself back and look at the whole situation and look at the character very subjectively, always consider the interaction with that character versus the rest of your fellow actors. So it's very different, so different in a way that it's like you have to really switch your mode of thinking." 9. Wide of Donnie Yen and Huang Shengyi posing for photo STORYLINE DONNIE YEN IS HOT ON ACTION For a forthcoming movie, Donnie Yen dons his directing hat once more as he choreographes the action scenes in "Iceman Cometh 3D." "Iceman Cometh 3D" stars Yen as Ying, one of four orphans who are frozen in time during the Ming dynasty as they are fighting to clear the name of Ying for a murder he did not commit. Fast forward 400 years later and Ying's body is accidentally defrosted. He uses a Golden Wheel of Time to help discover who really committed the murder and tried to frame him. The film also stars actress Huang Shengyi, who said Yen was the perfect gentlemen when it came looking after her on set.
