Full written recipe of Garlic Pepper Chicken Prep time: 15-20 minutes Cooking time: 10-15 minutes Serves: 3-4 peiple Ingredients: Chicken frying CHICKEN | चिकन 450 GRAMS (BREAST) SALT | नमक TO TASTE BLACK PEPPER | काली मिर्च A PINCH (FRESHLY CRUSHED) VINEGAR | सिरका ½ TSP LIGHT SOY SAUCE | लाइट सोया सॉस 1 TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE | अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट 1 TSP EGG WHITE | अंडे का सफेद हिस्सा 1 NO. CORN FLOUR | कॉर्न फ्लोर 4 TBSP Sauce & Tossing OIL | तेल 1 TBSP ONION | प्याज़ 1 TBSP (CHOPPED) GINGER | अदरक 1 TSP (CHOPPED) GARLIC | लहसुन 4 TBSP (CHOPPED) GREEN CHILLI | हरी मिर्च 3-4 NOS. (CHOPPED) CAPSICUM | शिमला मिर्च 1 TBSP (CHOPPED) HOT WATER | गरम पानी AS REQUIRED KETCHUP | कैचअप 1 TSP RED CHILLI SAUCE | रेड चिली सॉस 1 TSP DARK SOY SAUCE | डार्क सोया सॉस 2 TSP SALT | नमक TO TASTE BLACK PEPPER | काली मिर्च ½ TSP (FRESHLY CRUSHED) VINEGAR | सिरका ½ TSP CORN FLOUR | कॉर्न फ्लोर 1 TBSP WATER | पानी 2 TBSP SPRING ONION GREENS | हरे प्याज़ के पत्ते (CHOPPED) Method: Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces & transfer them into a bowl. Add salt, pepper, vinegar & the remaining ingredients, mix well & coat the chicken. Fry the chicken in moderately hot (170-175 C) oil until light golden brown & transfer into a sieve, do not overcook the chicken, it will only take 3-4 minutes to fry & make sure you fry in batches. To make the sauce set a wok over high flame & let it get hot, then add oil & let the oil heat up as well. Add onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli & saute for a minute, then add capsicum & stir well. Further add hot water, ketchup, red chilli sauce & dark soy sauce, stir well & cook for a minute. Then add salt, black pepper, vinegar, give it a stir & then add the corn flour slurry to thicken the sauce. Lastly add the chicken & spring onion greens, stir well & coat the chicken with the sauce, you don’t have to cook at this stage.
