Ride onboard the SODI electric powered RSX2 kart, as we take a lap around EVOLT Karting Johor Aeon Bukit Indah, driving at the novice speed level. The indoor circuit is based inside Aeon mall is very short in length. Really easy track to drive which is good for beginners, and it has a fun flowing characteristic to it. | EK SODI RSX2 Electric | EVOLT Karting uses the latest SODI RSX2 electric motor karts which are equipped with the latest karting technologies. It has an interactive screen on the steering that displays your lap times, delta timings and achievements all in real time! The RSX2 is a very fun and easy kart to drive. The handling and drivability is well balanced for the hairpin coners. I chose the novice speed, therefore I can't comment too much on braking power or its acceleration as it was capped to around 40km per hour. Overall the electric kart was super fun to handle. | EVOLT Karting Johor Track | This indoor track is one of the easier go kart tracks in Malaysia. The characteristics are flowing and utilising good acceleration out of the corners for faster times. It's wide enough for overtakes but be sure to antcipate the tight hairpin sections to avoid colliding with others. One note is that the track has some bumpy sections especially during the long straight to the tight hairpin corner. Which hard braking could cause it to unsettle the kart before the corner. A lap around here on novice can be between 35 to 37 seconds, and you will need to reach 37s to qualify for the higher faster karts.
