Happy Valentine’s Day ! I know in my last video I implied I wouldn’t be around super often but I just had to put something out for Valentine’s Day. I’m a big dumb dumb romantic so what better excuse to sing a lovey dovey song right ? Besides, I’ve been replaying Final Fantasy IV recently and Theme of Love/Tsuki no Akari is one of my favourite pieces on the soundtrack so it just made sense ! I tried my hand at writing some English lyrics for the song and I’m actually super pleased with how they turned out! The Japanese lyrics are beautiful on their own so I really didn’t wanna mess with the meaning too much. They’re pretty close to the original translation and include a lil bit of my own interpretation as well :p Like the last video I also made some art to go alonggg with the songgg. Honestly this is one of my favourite pieces since I never get the chance to draw scenery, clouds, weapons or flowers so why not lump ‘em into one ey? Cecil’s sword, rose for Rosa (ik, creative), also this was my first time drawing a moon and I think I did a pretty good job. Usually I just stick to drawing thicc anime womens ;u; Y’know, when I was looking for info on this song, I saw a lot of people come to the consensus that this is Kain’s song to Rosa ? And it makes sense because of the theme of unrequited love. But at the same time, when I read the lyrics, I can’t help but feel like it’s Edward singing to Anna. “With closed eyes, floating in the night sky,” ? I mean, c’mon. That being said, I could be completely wrong, feel free to sound off in the comments. ^^’ I dunno how often I’ll do actual videos of myself singing since I’m still uber self conscious.
