This video builds on the discussion started in my previous video in this series (   • Path analysis with manifest variables...  ). In this video, I provide a conceptual overview of direct, indirect, and total effects and demonstrate how to test specific and total indirect effects and total effects using various Stata commands. I discuss the nlcom command for carrying out these test. I also demonstrate how to set up a program for generating bootstrap standard errors and confidence intervals for carrying out these tests.
