So you're looking out the window of the airline flight you're on. All you see are clouds and more clouds. Then, suddenly, the ground appears. Shortly thereafter, you see the airport and feel the touchdown of the wheels. But wait... how did that airline pilot find the airport or even the right runway when the view out the window is nothing but clouds? It's called the Instrument Approach and in this video I'll put you in the cockpit with me as we do an instrument approach into the Shreveport Downtown Airport in Shreveport, Louisiana.
