FISH!! Welcome to Sega Bass Fishing 2! Sega Bass Fishing 2 is a bit of a departure from Sega Marine Fishing and the original SBF. It focuses more on the realistic aspects of fishing and is more complex than the arcade-style offerings of the previous two games. Being mostly the same game as Sega Bass Fishing Duel for the PS2 (which is sort of a minor upgrade), this game possesses over 100 lures, the abiltity to actually move around in your boat to find the best fishing spots depending on the time of day and weather, offers more customization over your characters who also possess stats now in different areas, and various unlockables. Stages are now broken up into days where you have a certain amount of hours to catch the most weight in Bass before weighing in for the day. The visuals use darker tones than the previous two games and more mimick real vistas with perhaps the greatest distinction between area size and water depth in the series. It's a good game, but this is about as much realism as I can stomach in a fishing game, as I'm not much of a fan as I pointed out before. Anyhoo, this is a video of the game in action. Enjoy.
