I love plein air painting! This is an easy beginners creative style watercolour that anyone can master! A real time demonstration with commentary, where I discuss what paints I'm choosing, and why. You can see the 'wetness' of the paper, and how the paints run and merge as the painting dries. I'm using watercolours, but you can do exactly the same with acrylics! Use a big brush, and work on paper. We have started a month-long holiday in Tasmania! We are travelling in our motorhome, and we plan to camp, paint and make videos as often as possible. This beach is called East Beach, which is near Georgetown at the top of Tasmania. The weather is cool and windy, but no rain. I have used a large flat brush from Reeves, called a spalter. (Not listed below because I cannot find them online.) I suggest you will find them in your local art shop. The paper I am using is Arches Cold Pressed, 21cm x 41cm Block pad.
