this is looong overdue for me, but i finally did it! and i love it! i love it so much that if it weren't for how incorrect taking a laptop into the bathroom feels, i'd be typing this from there. we moved into this very contemporary apartment a year ago, and while it's nice and i'm grateful, it lacks character in every single way. the floor plan is very open concept and i wasn't sure how long we'd be living here so i put off painting any of the rooms, but that didn't stop me from thinking about how sad and empty the bathroom felt every time i walked into it. now that i know we'll definitely be here a while longer, i figured it would be in our best interest to give it a little renter-friendly, budget-friendly-becausewehaveagiftcard makeover! i considered painting the room dark, mustard yellow for a while but i kept imagining it wouldn't look good and eventually talked myself out of it. i floated a few different color ideas before driving to ace hardware and deciding as i was walking through the door that i wanted a dark brownish-yellowish-green- which the paint guy was not enthused by. he seemed irritated that i didn't have a specific color picked out. but he has no idea how much better things turn out when i'm acting on a whim! tip: just don't think about anything ever and cross your fingers instead The words and other content provided are not intended and should not be construed as life advice.
