The Most Ridiculous Sword "Defense"? (I Can't Even...)

Someone's trying to stab or slash you with a saber? Don't panic... just perform the snake dance, and you'll be fine! 😆 Yeah, so this is one of the most bizarre "defenses" I've ever seen. Conceptually related to how a boxer would roll with a punch, but applied weirdly to a sword attack... where the best outcome you could hope for is acquiring a Sagat scar. Interestingly I looked up other technique demonstrations from what appears to be the same martial art (Systema), and while some look odd, there are also plenty that I'd consider practical and effective. The demonstrations generally remind me of Aikido, in that the training partner looks like a ragdoll in how over-compliant they are.
