Full live session:    • Waagal trio Live Session 2022 || Worl...   "Djehouty" is a 21 beats frame drum based tune, on my ‪@Meinl_Percussion_Official‬'s Tar. This is the ancient egyptian name for the god Thot, represented by an Ibis or a Baboon head. It's the god of writing, wisdom and knowledge. 7 is a sacred number in countless cultures, so when I worked on a 21 beats, which is basically 3 cycles of 7, the name of the song was all found. Frame Drum/Tar is a new instrument for me, I just started to teach myself during the March 2020 lockdown. There is still work to do, but I'm happy the way it goes: Patience is the key to practice.
