Our team explored Hogenekkal in March before the present lockdown, the ride to Hogenekkal through the forest was beautiful. We were able to sight many birds and small animals. This place is one of the must visit destinations for adventure freaks and travel lovers. The best season to visit Hogenekkal is to visit during monsoon. Our experience wonderful, since we visited the place after lockdown there was very less tourists and the hotels were mostly vacant. We managed to get a budget hotel and started our boating journey. The govt price per parisal(boat) is 750. Before the boating activity, we selected the fish and chicken for our lunch and handed over it to the cook which will be delivered once the boating and oil massage is over. The boating was adventurous, we were able to purchase soft drinks and fried fish in the Parisal. Followed by boating we had a great oil massage and lunch which we ordered earlier.
