In today's Trash to Treasure video, I'm taking Silver Plated Serving Pieces and giving them new life with just a little bit of paint! Wet Distressing brings out all those beautiful details, and waxing ensures they will remain beautiful for years to come. Pieces painted in Waverly brand chalk paint in the color Plaster. This paint can be purchased at Walmart or online through Amazon. Circular tops cut from a piece of birch plywood available from your home improvement store. Tops were stained in Craft Smart Premium Barnwood Stain in Brown. I purchase this in store or online from Michael's. Pieces were sealed with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Wax in Clear, but any wax made for chalk paint will work just as well.
