It’s a great area to walk around, there are parks, oceanside, and plenty of cafes, restaurants and shopping. We landed in Lima, got checked into our apartment (https://www.airbnb.com/c/markw149), and immediately took a walk to go eat lunch. Océano Azul - I just searched this restaurant on Google and it looks pretty good and it was in walking distance from our apartment. Ceviche was pretty good, and a nice atmosphere and staff. Total price - 196 PEN ($59.33) Parque Kennedy - This is a main landmark and park in Miraflores. It’s great to walk around, stroll, and people hang out at the park until l ate at night. You can also stop at Parroquia La Virgen Milagrosa church when you’re there. Larcomar - This is the major open air shopping center in Lima, overlooking the coast. It’s nicely done, and I like the cafes overlooking the water. Puku Puku Café Larco - I started with an Americano - 7.50 PEN ($2.27), and it was wonderful. I like how they use local Peruvian coffee. Then Sebastian offered to make us a Mochaccino. That was very nice of him, and it was delicious, my first time to have a mochaccino. Thank you Sebastian! Wong Supermarket - Finally, right in the heart of Miraflores, across the street from Kennedy Park is Wong Supermarket - a gourmet, kind of expensive, but very nice supermarket.
