From Children of a Dead Earth. Departing from my usual content. I've been meaning to add some commentary to this vid for a while. If anyone likes it, maybe I will. From anything I've seen online, no other Vesta run is as good. The Drones are ~2kT, with a 60MW nuke (stock IIRC). Each Drone has 5 custom railguns (22km/s projectiles). I can give those specs if anyone asks. Note: 1) the nose forward, 2) the armor cone 3) the swept back radiators, and 4) the neck, which covers the turrets behind the cone. These things make the Drones very, very hard to damage. The Shuttle thrusts hard towards the enemy fleet, then unloads the Drones and slams on the brakes (what I call the Slingshot Maneuver). This causes the enemy drones and missiles (and then the enemy fleet itself) to fly right into my Drones. This drone-shuttle combo also works well in all of the game's other combat scenarios - Venus, Triton and Titan. I can make those vids, if anyone is interested. Enjoy!
