When you used a machine like the Hoss Tools (www.hosstools.com) Garden Seeder to plant seed, you have to use the correct seed disc, or seed plate. The seed disc has holes in it so that only 1 seed is planted at a time, and is planted at the right spacing from one to another. Selecting the wrong plate means that that seeder could drop too many seeds at a time or none at all. This process takes a few moments now, but in the future you will know which plate is the best one for your seed and you should never have to go through it again.
