GTA Online: The Criminal Enterprises DLC - New Hidden Research Mission (Avon Hertz AI Easter Egg)

This video showcases the hidden Avon/Clifford Easter egg in the new bunker research mission added as part of the new Criminal Enterprises DLC for GTA Online. To trigger this mission, you need to call Agent 14 and request a bunker research mission, a feature added as part of this new update. It is recommended you have as many research items unlocked as possible to increase your chances of getting this mission, as the item itself doesn't appear to be tied to any specific unlock, the more things you have left to unlock, the more missions the game can spawn instead of this one. I had already done all the research items some time ago so this mission spawns very often for me, but for others it can be very rare. The mission itself features many references to the Doomsday Heist, with Agent 14 describing it as the sequel, and breaking the fourth wall by questioning how Clifford's AI is still active when you already took out Avon Hertz 5 years ago. It's a fairly simple mission, you have to take out one of Avon's juggernaut robots that is wrecking havoc in Los Santos and steal its computer chip for research material, lose the cops and deliver it back to the bunker. It's unclear if the item you receive is tied to any future content, as it seems to be relatively benign at the moment, as of now it's just simply a fun little reference to past content and where in the timeline we are in the game nowadays.
