After a short training trip in Toronto, I flew back to Scotland via the same route. However, this time, I'm travelling with Star Alliance Lufthansa on their B744! It's been 22 years since I last boarded a Boeing B747, and this refurbished B744 really is what I was hoping for! The food in this longhaul flight was good, with many rounds made to make sure passengers are hydrated. The things that surprised me was stainless steel cutlery, provided for cattle-class passengers! Lufthansa did a great job on this leg, and I'd definitely fly with them again if I had another chance to travel longhaul with them. That said, FRA T1 is currently in my blacklist (together with BCN T2 and KUL T2/KLIA2), as it is too troublesome for a transitting passenger. Long and winding paths are just dreadful.
