Here In the description I will write my stance on abortion itself] Why I’m a pro-choice male (TW: mention of r@p3): Okay look, I support women’s rights all the way, and that includes a women’s right to be allowed to have an abortion. One of the reasons is because I used to be an extremely religious person when I was younger, and when I was advocating for women to stop aborting, I didn’t realize how degrading that actually was. Being pro-life is about dehumanizing women and teaching them that they do not have any control over their own bodies or choices. It’s about forcing women to keep the unborn fetus that they could not be ready or not be prepared for. Now don’t get me wrong, like if I was a female and pregnant, I would likely not get an abortion due to some factors involved , but that doesn’t mean the option shouldn’t be available for other women, it totally should! Some arguments that pro-lifers use are “well if you don’t want a baby, then why did you open your legs” or “maybe you shouldn’t have dressed like a whore” and those standpoints are plain stupid because 1. Have they ever heard of rape? and 2. There are women that wear several layers of clothing and yet they STILL get raped by predators. Many of them are minors that get raped by their own blood relatives! They didn’t ask to get pregnant and they shouldn’t be forced to keep the child if they don’t want to, especially if there’s evidence that the mother’s pregnancy puts her life at risk or if the fetus is deformed and/or ill, or if they’re not financially stable. Yes, women can put their child up for adoption, but the majority of these adoption agencies are already full of children and most of the time, couples end up adopting and favoring younger children that are either white or passing as white, leaving the others to age out and have nowhere to go, which is about 23,000+ children per year. So plain and simple, I am pro-choice because no one should force a woman to get an abortion, but no one should take away her right to get an abortion either. Abortion can come with some consequences, yes I understand that, but so can taking away abortion rights. This is my stance on abortion. Thank you for reading.
