This short (1.75 round trip) trail is amazing walking path in Griffith Park for Los Angeles. The weather can be hot and dry all summer but Ferndell stays lush and cool thanks to all the recycled water flowing through the stream here from Griffith Observatory. It is located near the entrance of Fern Dell Drive at the Ferndell Nature Museum. This trail goes under some nice bridges and there is even a cafe here called the The Trails which is opened from 8 am to 6 pm.
