We celebrated the holiday spirit by giving back to our community with our 8th annual Grocery Dash. Twelve lucky customers got the opportunity to dash down the empty aisles of the Forest Lawn Sobeys and grab as much food as they can off the shelves in under a minute, walking away with a shopping cart full of free groceries. We not only gave back to our customers, but also lent a helping hand to the Calgary Food Bank. We donated $3,000 worth of non-perishable food and essential items. Sponsors from Postmedia, along with representatives from General Motors, the Calgary Food Bank and members of our staff ran the Charity Dash this year.
