Restaurant Style Chilli Chicken Gravy | Chilli Chicken | Chilli Chicken Recipe | Chilli Chicken Recipe Indo Chinese Style | How to make Chilli Chicken | Chilli Chicken by Chef Johnson Cecil. Prep. Time : 35 minutes. Serve for 3 people. Ingredients: 500 gm Chicken breast (cut into thin strips) Marination: 1 tbsp Soy sauce 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp red chili powder salt to taste 2 tbsp corn flour 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 1 whole egg For the Sauce: 1 tbsp oil 2 tbsp garlic chop 1 tbsp ginger chop 1 cup capsicum (julienne) 1 cup onion (sliced) 4 green chilies (sliced) 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp chili paste 1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp black pepper powder water as required for slurry take 1 tbsp corn flour and 2 tbsp water for garnish: fresh chop coriander fresh chop spring onions Method: In a mixing bowl add 500 gm chicken breast cut into thin strips. Add soy sauce, black pepper powder, red chili powder, salt to taste, corn flour, all-purpose flour, ginger & garlic paste, and a whole egg. Mix all ingredients well with the chicken and marinate it for 30 minutes. In a deep pan, add oil for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, stir the marinated chicken and fry them until they are golden. Do this with all your chicken and remove it on the kitchen towel. Set aside. In a pan or wok add oil, once the oil is hot add chopped ginger and garlic and sauté it for 1 minute. Once ginger and garlic are nicely sauteed, add capsicum and onions. Stir fry the capsicum and onions for 2 minutes and make sure you don't overcook them. Add sliced green chilies and mix well. Add soy sauce, chili paste, vinegar, and black pepper powder, and sauté it with the vegetables. Stir fry for 2 minutes and then add water. Mix well. To make slurry take corn flour and mix it with water. Make sure that there are no lumps. Add the corn flour slurry to the sauce and mix the sauce well so there are no lumps. Now add the dried chicken to the gravy and mix it with the sauce. Make sure that the chicken is well coated with the sauce. Cook the chicken for 5 minutes. Now add chopped coriander and spring onion, and give a final mix to the chicken. Chicken Chili is ready. Serve it with fried rice or steamed rice. Serve it hot and enjoy.
