My time at the Elephant Sands in Botswana was another once-in-a-lifetime experience. Wild elephants visit this lodge daily to have a drink from their water hole. You can sit at the restaurant all day and just watch the elephants up close. I set up my tent for the night as close as possible to the animals so I could look at them every time I opened my eyes. They were walking around my tent at night, which was kind of scary to see them so close.
