Now one of the games I watched before becoming friends with GBFan45. During 2016, I was researching fan games and came across "Wario Tales: The Great Treasure Island". A Gameboy-style fan game, which mixes Wario Land with Duck Tales. Unfortunately this video was deleted from his channel or was on his older account. With some of the source files he gave me, I was able to play the fan game. I played it today for the first time! The fan game is at a very early stage with music still in MIDI (perhaps to save memory space while it is being developed, I did this in Konami Mario vs. Wario). The attack doesn't work, the first boss is bugged without ending the battle, boss objects don't hurt Wario, and when he has the power of garlic he can't attack. Graphically the game is excellent! However, very repetitive or empty level design. New enemies and sprites very well done. The game's physics are more or less similar to Wario Land on the Game Boy, just with small different details. Contains several writing errors. And oddly enough the game goes to the final level, but the final battle doesn't work. I couldn't show it in the video due to the recorder time, but "Jolly Duck Roger" appears on his ship, but apparently he doesn't have any programming. In his room, the Rudy the Clown theme plays. With the disappearance of GBFan45, the project was put aside so it is technically cancelled. I will possibly release the source someday so you can continue, as I have many projects to create. So you can also create your own Wario Land using Game Maker 8.1. Soon I will show another fan game stopped at an early stage by GBFan45, which failed to see the light of day: "Super Mario Land 4".
