We are at beautiful Green Lake in British Columbia, Canada. In Part 2, we are showcasing a Scotty Fishing Laketroller Downrigger on a Stryker inflatable boat. While you are out on the lake trolling, it's working to get you some fish in your boat. This system works extremely well with our boats as we have partnered with Scotty fishing products and we have their mounts preinstalled at the factory. You can plug and play up to 30 different fishing products on a Stryker boat. Wow! The Laketroller downrigger is a very simple system. You can simply plug it into the Scotty mount and add a 3lb cannonball and attach the line to your rod, and voila! This system works great with a Scotty Baitcaster rod holder. A Garmin Striker Fish Finder is a great accessory to add to your inflatable boat as well. This allows you to see the depth and fish that are swimming in the water below. You can mount a pedestal seat, and sit back and watch your downrigger system do the work. To release your rod, simply hold it and give it a tug so it releases the clip.
