Hiding in rural woodland and lost amongst the trees lay a stunningly preserved time capsule. Dusty artefacts are left forgotten as cobwebs sprawl the window sills. Abandoned since the owner passed away. See side by side photographs of the chapel in its early years compared to how it is looks today. This chapel was consecrated in 1974. Hand built by a Czechoslovakian man to thank the country who gave him refuge after the Nazis’ invaded his homeland in 1939. The shrine above the altar is in memory of his late wife who sadly passed away a few years before himself. This chapel sits on sacred land and the founder is buried on site. He loved this place so much in life he never wanted to leave in death. Out of respect to him a location won't be disclosed on this occasion.
