Hot and crispy Onion Pakoda reminds me of rainy evenings when the recipe is made and served with tea. It is a yummy and crispy snack of Indian vegetarian recipe made of gram flour and rice flour. Onion pakoda of Telugu vantalu are also served with spicy chutneys and eaten as snack with tea. INGREDIENTS: Onion Salt Turmeric Powder Red Chili powder Garam Masala Coriander powder Curry leaves Gram Flour - 2 cups Rice flour - 1 cup Oil PREPARATION: Take required number of Onions and slit them as shown in the video. take the onions to a bowl and add Onion, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Red Chili powder, Garam Masala, Coriander powder, Curry leaves, Gram Flour - 2 cups and Rice flour - 1 cup. Mix them well till the flour is completely moisturized. Add very small quantity of water only if the onion does not give out enough moisture. Heat Oil in a pan and cook till Pakoda turns crispy. Fry some curry leaves and add to the pakoda which gives a wonderful aroma.
