1. All glories, all glories to the greatest master His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Thakur (Srila Puri Goswami Thakur) in whose nectarine vaisnava qualities the pure devotees take delight. The nectarine teachings of Lord Caitanya as presented by His Divine Grace Saccidananda Bhaktivinode Thakur principally teach to follow pure devotional principles by taking shelter of the holy name. These teachings are the divine wealth of His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Thakur. 2. In order to illuminate the devotional consciousness of all of the devotees with the light of devotion in accordance with the desires of Sriman Gauranga Mahaprabhu, Srila Puri Goswami Thakur appeared in the material world at Ganganandapur, Jessore District, Bangladesh on the bank of the Kapotaksa River which was already known as a holy place due to the appearance of Lokanatha Goswami there, earlier. 3. Upon coming in the association of the nectarine lotus feet of Srila Bhakiratna Thakur, Srila Puri Goswami Thakur got the fragrance of pure devotion just as an intoxicated honeybee gets the fragrance of honey upon finding a flower. 4. Srila Bhaktiratna Thakur noticed that you were a young, beautiful boy who was peaceful, intellectual, self-controlled, truthful and devotionally inclined, and that you had dedicated and surrendered yourself to the divine lotus feet of Sriman Gauranga Mahaprabhu. Srila Bhaktiratna Thakur lovingly accepted you under his tutelage. 5. Knowing you to be the qualified recipient of pure devotion, Srila Bhaktiratna Thakur taught you the essence of the confidential teachings of all devotional scriptures. Although you were not initiated, he instructed you to serve his deities, Sri Sri Radha Madanamohana, who were as dear to him as his own life, in accordance with the teachings of Sriman Gauranga Mahaprabhu. 6. Krsna manifests Himself in accordance with the pure devotees’ desire to serve Him as they perceive doing so in their citta (heart, mind, intelligence, consciousness). Krsna in His transcendental deity form desires to be served through spontaneous loving devotion (raga-seva). Thus, He affectionately punished you knowing you to be His own near and dear one. 7. According to the order of Srila Bhaktiratna Thakur, you took one-pointed shelter of the divine feet of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada who is Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur’s intimate associate. Through your exemplary practice, you taught the treasure of unalloyed pure devotion through taking shelter of chanting the Hare Krsna Mahamantra. 8. By the strength of the mercy of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga, you gained incomparable scholarship that even surpassed that of Brhaspati, the spiritual master of all the gods and goddesses. You delivered hundreds and hundreds of people through your mercy of giving commentaries on the practice of pure devotion and the glorious potency of the holy name.  9. You were eternally situated in the mellow of divine loving separation from your beloved Lord. Your body displayed the symptoms of being overwhelmed in ecstasy while constantly chanting the holy names. Under the shelter of the dearest associate of Sri Sri Gandharvika Giridhari (Sri Varsabhanavi-dayita dasa who was later known as Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur), you eternally served Their Lordships in spontaneous loving devotion. 10. Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu, who was later known as Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu after taking up the renounced order, accepted the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya sampradaya lineage under the leadership of Sri Madhvacarya as Sri Madhvacarya’s essential teachings were that the deity of Sri Krsna and service to the deity are eternal. Through your practice of these scriptural teachings of the Goswamis (our prime teachers namely Rupa, Sanatana, Gopala Bhatta, Raghunatha Dasa, Raghunatha Bhatta, and Jiva) in accordance with the views of Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur, you taught the deity worship limb of devotion. 11. The third teaching of Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu explains that one can constantly chant the holy names when one is more humble than a blade of grass, is more tolerant than a tree, is free of the desire for respect, material name, fame, worship and position and when one gives due respect to all living entities. You are the embodiment of all of these qualities and through your living example, you taught the entire world how to serve the holy name. 12. Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu is the crown jewel of dedication to the mother. You, Srila Puri Goswami Thakur, are Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu’s intimate associate; you also had such dedication to your mother. Your mother, Srimati Ramrangini Devi used to serve the deities of Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha. Remembering mother’s worshipful deities, Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha, you established a temple named Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math.
