In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to manage your properties in HubSpot. In HubSpot, properties are used to store data on HubSpot’s standard CRM objects, custom objects, and products. Steps to follow: 1. To create a custom property in your HubSpot account navigate to the settings gear icon in the main navigation bar. 2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Properties. 3. In the Select an object section, click the dropdown menu and select the object you want to create a property for. Here we are selecting contact properties as an object. 4. In the upper right, click Create property. 5. In the right panel, set up your property. 6. Select the object that the property will be for. By default, this is the object type you selected earlier. 7. Then, select the property group the property should belong to. Here we are selecting contact information. 8. Enter text for the name of the property in the Label box. 9. Enter text to further describe the property in the Description box. 10. Click Next, then Click the Field type dropdown menu and select a field type for this property.
